Application Process
The first step for eligibility to receive a scholarship from Dollars for Scholars is to submit an application from our website. After the deadline, the applications are anonymized and committee members help to score them. Applicants are awarded scholarships based upon their GPA and rank in class as well as school activities, work experience, and essays. Some scholarships are awarded based upon what the applicant may be going into for a career, or what school they are planning on attending. Financial need is also considered for a select few. This year, 124 students received 178 scholarships!
