Lila has been a rockstar! She has been a big help to me in my classroom, and has been great in helping the other 5th Grade teachers too.
Lila:
• Makes great connections with the students.
• Is patient and encouraging with the kids.
• Has great communication skills.
• Is skilled at teaching students and getting them to complete their work.
• Is very reliable and responsible.

Students from DLHS & the ALC attended the Wadena-Deer Creek College & Education Fair visiting with representatives from as many as 60 colleges, universities, community colleges, technical colleges, and specialty schools. This opportunity was a great resource in assisting students with postsecondary planning.

Mentor’s Comments:
We have enjoyed having Brooke as an intern! Brooke is eager to learn about the profession and is very engaged in whatever activity we have going on at the clinic.
Brooke:
• Assists whenever & wherever she can.
• Has a great attitude and is always polite.
• Is very punctual and has excellent attendance.
• Asks good questions and is very curious.
