Detroit Lakes High School art students worked together over the first few days of school to create a large doodle drawing. The doodles were combined to create a 30ft masterpiece hanging in the hallway for all to enjoy.

Check out what the DLHS Greenhouse Management Class has grown! Students have tended these plants from plugs and transplanted them to make different planter and basket combinations. Through this, students have learned about how to properly fertilize plants, management practices for a greenhouse, and how to market a product. The products of their hard work are now for sale! It has been such a pleasure getting to know Thea and working with her in the showroom these past couple of months. Thea is outgoing, charismatic & is full of life. With her driven and bubbly personality, she will go far.

▪ Is always willing and eager to learn.
▪ Jumps in and assists with whatever work needs to be done.
Project Explore Intern: Collin Germundson

Say hello to Collin, our next Project Explore Intern Spotlight! Collin is gaining valuable experience at the Boys & Girls Thrift Store, where he stocks shelves, sorts donations, and helps price items for sale. His hard work and attention to detail help keep the store running smoothly every day!

Big thanks to the Boys & Girls Thrift Store for partnering with Project Explore and giving Collin the chance to build his skills and confidence in a real-world setting.

Lucas has taken on many roles during his internship this semester. He always takes each task with an open mind and does everything with a smile.  As he continues to grow as an individual and gain confidence in the field, he will be a great asset to a future employer.

▪ Has taken every task from door-to-door marketing and blueprint takeoff to jobsite help to the best of his abilities.
