Detroit Lakes High School art students worked together over the first few days of school to create a large doodle drawing. The doodles were combined to create a 30ft masterpiece hanging in the hallway for all to enjoy.

DLHS Picture Day - Tuesday, September 10
The Small Engines classes at Detroit Lakes High School are seeking/requesting the donation of working engines under 20 horsepower or any combustion engine, 2-stroke or 4-stroke.
Drop-off for these working engines are welcome at the backside of the high school:
Wednesday, August 28th, 4-6 pm
Thursday, August 29th, 4-6 pm
Tuesday, September 3rd (first day of school), 4-6 pm
In the first half of the semester, the Small Engine Classes will be focused on understanding the internal combustion engine, disassembling a working engine, and reconstructing the engine back to working condition. They will also be studying the uses of electric motors and building several electric motor prototypes/vehicles, incorporating small electric motors.Thank you for supporting Laker students' hands-on education!
